Our first Travel Award piloted at Epsom College in 1985 and ran for over thirty years.
The scheme supported school leavers on gap year placements that lasted six months or more. It encouraged participants to imaginatively engage with new environments and live inside other cultures through purposeful travel. The Trust’s Travel Award enjoys an abundant legacy of empowering young people, opening up boundless possibilities and ways of interpreting the rich tapestry of the world.
