We awarded a Travel Grant to female school leavers at City of London Girls’ School for twelve years.
The programme was designed as a gap year placement, lasting six months or more. Students had the valuable opportunity to combine education and adventure, developing new skills and discovering new cultures along the way. Our Award had a significant impact on the young people it supported. In embracing new challenges overseas, participants were able to build resilience and go onto seize the future in a world of change.
